Experienced Lead Teacher (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Kido Heaven Child Care is a licensed family home daycare providing high-quality, nurturing care in a warm, respectful, and family-oriented environment. We are currently looking for a passionate, reliable, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our small and supportive team.
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Lead Teacher who truly enjoys working with young children and is committed to creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily activities
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Build strong emotional connections with children
Observe, document, and support each child’s development
Maintain clear and professional communication with parents
Lead and guide classroom routines and daily schedules
Support and collaborate with assistant staff
Follow all Washington State licensing, health, and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
Experience working with young children in a licensed child care setting preferred
Strong classroom management and supervision skills
Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate practices
CPR & First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Patient, dependable, organized, and professional
Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team
