Home Daycare for Kenmore Families
Kenmore sits at the north tip of Lake Washington, where the Sammamish River meets the lake, and only became a city in 1998. The Burke-Gilman Trail follows the shore through town, and Saint Edward State Park lies on its southern edge.
Getting here from Kenmore
We are one family home daycare, in the Bothell 98012 area; Kenmore is 6.5 miles south of us as the crow flies. From Kenmore, families usually come east on SR 522 (Bothell Way) into Bothell, then north on the Bothell-Everett Highway.
Our two-hour drop-off window (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM) leaves room to work around school runs and traffic.
Of the 17 communities our families come from, Kenmore is the 8th-closest to us.
When kindergarten comes
Most Kenmore children go on to the Northshore School District. Our Pre-K group is all about getting ready for that first school year.
Out and about with little ones
Log Boom Park has a long pier and a playground right on Lake Washington, and the Kenmore Library holds story times for young children.
