Toddler Group
1 – 3 Years

Toddlers are on the move and into everything — so we lean into it: hands-on discovery through music, stories, and active play, with routines that help busy little people feel secure.

What we focus on

  • Settling in well. A gentle start and a predictable day help toddlers through the first weeks of care.
  • Learning with their hands. Music, stories, blocks, messy play and food play: toddlers learn by doing.
  • Growing independence. Small self-care skills — washing hands, feeding themselves, tidying up — practiced every day.

Questions parents ask

How do you handle separation anxiety?

I work closely with children to make them feel welcomed, offering gentle reassurance and engaging activities.

What does a typical day look like for my child?

Our daily schedule includes structured learning, creative play, outdoor time, nutritious meals, naps, and enrichment activities like arts and crafts, music, dancing, and storytime.

Do children get screen time?

Children under two have no screen time, as Washington child care licensing requires. For older children, we limit screen time to educational purposes, including guided storytelling and interactive learning.

Do you take the children outside?

Yes! Weather permitting, we offer daily outdoor play in our secure backyard, along with short nature walks and group activities.

However, from the very first day, Kido Heaven completely changed that for us. Ninaz and her Team welcomed my Twins (who were 16 months old when they started here) with warmth and love. …”

All the toys, the decorations, the organization. the meals are even adorable and I can tell my daughter is learning so much with milestones and skills. She really enjoys going to daycare every day and I cannot recommend this daycare enough. …”
